Casket Salesmen formed in late 2005 when best friends, Nathan Lindeman and Phil Pirrone left the band that they had been a part of for five years of their young lives. Both guys still in their early 20's (Phil - 21, Nate - 23), basically grew up on the road. And after five years, the time had come for them to move on to other things.
Since December of 2005 Nate and Phil have been working on what has become their debut full length album. With the help of friends: Jarad Alexander and Ryan Knights (Mythmaker) sharing drumming duties. And Justin Gutierrez (Mythmaker), co-producing and engineering, the album is finished.
"Sleeping Giants" will see an August 1, 2006 release through Longhair Illuminati, an independent record label started by Phil Pirrone. The record features guest appearances by: Chris Sheets and Steve Borth (Rx Bandits), Anthony Alagna (Auditory Aphasia), Nicole Verhamme (Mythmaker), & others.
The band's live lineup is rounded out by Ryan Knights on drums (for the time being) and Justin Gutierrez on bass (for the time being).
